Vitamin D

Have you had a vitamin D test ? Do you tale a supplement?
When you choose healthy food do you use that to justify eating a less healthy choice ?

I haven't had a test for vitamin D About a year ago I decided on my own to take a supplement of 1,00 units each day. I have now added a multivitamin to that.
Do I feel better? I can't answer that question because my healthy is constantly shifting .
As for food choices Yeah I have to admit that I do justify eating a rich dessert because I had a healthy low fat meal.

Yes, I was tested for Vitamin D levels and am now on prescription Vit D (50,000 mg once a week for twelve weeks). They'll retest me soon to see what happened. I feel no better.

As far as food goes, with no energy to cook I eat whatever I can find.

We're like total opposites... XD I live a seriously unhealthy lifestyle. I don't eat right, I do drugs, smoke, drink, and I'm on enough psych meds to make three people drool in delight. Yet, I remain thin and in good physical condition... I don't even exercise or anything. *Shrugs*

Oh shooT! Thanks for reminding me what I need to post about, my adventure with D.

I was low, back to normal after 2 months of sun at least 10 min a day. I also started 2,000 IUs (capsules) (not sure how to do the Canadian exchange), glass of skim milk daily, cheese/cottage cheese/yogurt and salmon at least once a week.
I have noticed a huge positive change. Will get that post out soon. Oh, and 1,000IU Calcium

Wow I'm nervous to take more than 1,000 units. Maybe I should bump up my dose ?
