I remember when I was a kid in school we practiced hiding in the basement if there was a nuclear attack. It seems ridiculous today because why would anyone bomb a Catholic grammar school on Lake Ontario? It was effective in making my generation into "Peace & Love" though. Somehow the Cold War ended but War never ends. Despite signs.
I too went to Catholic schoool.
Yeah we use to hide under our desks and pray !
