Peregrine Falcons

Forgot to give a plug to the Peregrine Falcon project.
We are lucky that the falcons like to raise a family on the roof of the Sheraton Hotel downtown.
So far two chicks, with two more eggs to hatch .
The mother, Madame X, is originally from Pennsylvania
See the web cam here

Seattle had a few of them downtown once, what a treat.

Hi! Diane
Yeah the most fun is when they teach the babies to fly.

Kodak has a nest on top of their tall building in downtown Rochester too. I haven't checked the web cam this year yet though. I didn't realize they would be hatching already. I've been away from the East Coast for 20 years and I'm losing track of the progress of the eastern seasons. Let's see, mid-May means LILACS- right?

Hi! occam
Yeah the lilac bushes have buds and will be blooming soon.
I'll be going over to the botanical gardens to take photos of their amazing ones, if the rain ever stops.
